Drove my Camaro in their to have it looked at, spark plug wiring had melted and after fixing it 4 times got tired of trying. Told them the issue and left my car there. Not only did they fix it, i was still able to pick my car up after closing, and they didn't even charge me for any of it. (*i had provided the parts*) Done in around an hour, when I was told roughly 3 hours.
WOW!! I took my 2007 Ford Edge SE in for transmission service thinking it needed to be done, but it didn't. In turn, Mr. David gave me a thorough diagnosis for my front end. He was very informative and helpful. Being in business for 47 years is awesome for him, and I guarantee that I will continue on with their vehicle service. Unlike other mechanics and business owners, he puts the customer first instead of money. I would he is as the motto for the USMC. SEMPER FI!!! Always faithful!
Mr. David Daniel was every time, either in person or on the phone, was spot on with professionalism and courteous. Had to go to twice because of maintenance issues with my truck, but Mr. David got it handled and was still professional both times we had to take it in. Mr. David is awesome himself and does wonderful work and guarantees his work as well. Thank you, Mr. David for working hard on our/my truck!
THE BEST AROUND!!! Let me first start by saying I moved here with no idea who would be honest & affordable. I drove to VA from CA in my 2015 Chevy Silverado with only 50k miles on it when I arrived in VA. A bit after my arrival, I was having issues when feathering between speeds. Took it into chevy in Gloucester for a diagnostic. $145.00 later they told me the entire transmission needed to be replaced, my back breaks needed replacement, and my break fluid needed to be flushed. They said my total would come out to a little over $6,500.00! What they didn’t know is despite being a woman, I know a thing or two about cars & I knew they were out of their minds! Chevy also took 2 days to even bother notifying me. I had to call them for an update! After the headache, I got in my car and called around town. Then I met David at AAMCO in Newport News. He got me right in to take a look when I explained my problems with my truck. He looked at it and called me back in an hour!! His words were, “Darling there is NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR TRANSMISSION. Also, your back breaks have 50% left and don’t need to be changed for another 20-30k miles, and your break fluid is great.” He then told me it was only the cylinder 2 misfiring! He didn’t charge me a dime when I picked it up and said he would fix it himself. The cost for the diagnosis ($59.95) would be paid at the end which goes toward the repair anyhow. Not only did David save my wallet, but his honesty, hospitality, and knowledge is something to be known for in the VA area! I’ll definitely be back for any future car troubles!
Happy and pleased to have my Cadillac serviced for rear differential bearing work. Dave was very informative of the work and honest about the timeline to complete the task. I received periodic updates of the service work. Great customer service. Kudos to Dave and the mechanics.
Excellent service. From day one David was very informative and honest. After dropping off our vehicle, David or Cliff keep us informed every step of the repair. Very reasonable price for a complete rebuild and torque converter. Could not be happier. Now, on for the next 140,000 miles. Thank you everyone a AAMCO. Definitely would recommend.
